Barleybox Cafe & Diner

Fabulous food, great quick service, extensive menu, very reasonable prices and friendly staff. Food is always hot, good quality and served in generous portions. Cafe is open 7 days a week for mosy of the day. Nearby parking is available. Absolutely no complaints!!

Superb cafe. It's always busy no matter what day - in a quiet town that tells you all you need to know. I went today and the food was lovely - honest, fresh, tasty, well presented, swift - and not pretending to be anything it isn't. Service is impeccable and it's very keenly priced. Cash only - which I think is great.

I always get the large breakfast from here & it's always cooked perfectly. Staff are very polite & helpful. Very clean inside.

I have a small breakfast normally, it includes bread and a drink. Perfect for me and always cooked well.

It was my first Visit to the Barleybox Cafe & Diner in Elland today 12/08/24 . Initially only went in for a quick coffee. Once I saw a breakfast being delivered to another table my order was changed promptly. I opted for the medium breakfast and bacon sandwich for my guest . I can honestly say the food was delicious & it was piping hot too which I like . The service was very quick and professional. The staff were very friendly . The decor inside the cafe is really nice. The cafe inside was very clean . The Barleybox cafe & Diner obviously take great pride in keeping their premises very clean and to a high standard. This won’t be our last visit to the Barley Box Cafe & Diner. It’s going to be one of our favourite places to visit now .

I had a mug of tea and toasted currant teacake. It was superb. Tasty, fresh and hot. Plenty of butter to fully coat the teacake.
